Gig Notification Settings

If you are receiving too many or too few gig notifications, or gig notifications that are too far away from your location, all can be easily resolved by following the steps below:

I'm receiving gig notifications too far away from my location
In your account, click Create Your Profile or Profile Edit. 

Then Scroll down to the bottom of your Settings tab to - 'Please choose the distance in which you perform'.

By selecting 'Worldwide', you will also receive email notifications for Audition, Job & Gig openings that are worldwide & on cruise ships.

If you are currently receiving gig notifications that are too far away from your location, this is usually due to your distance being set to 'Worldwide' or 'Nationwide'. Simply change the settings to 'Regionwide' if you wish to only receive gig notifications for gigs based in the region where you live, or 'Nationwide' for gigs in your country only.

To change the volume of gig notifications that you receive, there are a few options:

1. Change the distance settings in which you perform (see above). 

2. Change how often you wish to receive gig notifications in Settings > How often would you like to be notified

How often would you like to be notified?

 Notify me instantly when an Audition/Gig is added.

 Notify me of all new "Auditions & Gigs" once per day.

 Notify me of all new "Auditions & Gigs" once per week.


3. Review your 'Additional Categories' in Create Your Profile / Profile Edit > Settings > List in Additional Categories 

If you are receiving too few gig notifications, search through the act types in the 'Select Additional Categories' section to see if there are new additional categories that fit your services. Select more categories and you will start receiving gig notifications for those categories also.

If you are receiving too many irrelevant gig notifications, review the categories that you previously selected and remove any that don't accurately fit your services - you will then no longer receive gig notifications for those unselected categories.
